Ministry Overview
As members of the congregation, we're sent into the community to serve those in need and to make our community more loving and just. We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers and guides us in our ministries and that wherever there's need and suffering, we meet Christ, already at work. But still, we cannot be effective in ministry on our own. So the congregation exists, in part, to surround and support each member in his or her ministry. We do not always succeed in our efforts to be faithful disciples in the world. But with the loving support of the community of faith, we can continue to grow.
We Are All Called to Minister
Though our gifts vary widely, we're all called to and engaged in the one ministry of Jesus Christ.
Some of the opportunities to minister within the church are:
Vocal Choir, Hand Bell Choir, United Methodist Women, Prayer Quilt, Shawl Ministry, Sunday School for children and adults, and quarterly Bible and Book Studies. Participants and leaders are needed in all areas of ministries.
It Happens in Our Daily Activity
Opportunities for fellowship include:
Monthly Men's Fellowship Breakfast, Men's Fellowship Golf League from May through September, Euchre Tourney Night, and Women's Christmas Tea.

United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith" is an organization dedicated to fostering connections and nurturing women on a spiritual level through Christian teachings and practices. Their goal is to facilitate growth in various aspects, such as leadership development, creative fellowship, and education.
By focusing on Christian spiritual formation, they aim to help women deepen their understanding of their faith and encourage personal growth within that context. Leadership development indicates their commitment to empowering women to take on influential roles, both within their communities and on a larger scale, fostering qualities that enable them to guide and inspire others.
Additionally, through creative fellowship, the organization likely fosters a sense of community and belonging among its members, encouraging creative expressions and connections that are rooted in faith. Education plays a crucial role, likely encompassing teachings, workshops, or resources that equip women with knowledge and skills to make meaningful contributions within their local communities and beyond.
Ultimately, the aim is to empower women within the framework of Christian beliefs, enabling them to become sources of inspiration, influence, and positive impact in both local and global spheres.
